Day in Dublin

48 °F

I arrived in Dublin at 7:30AM. It was a 5 1\2 hour plane ride from JFK New York. It's about 48 degree's, but the sun has been shining and no rain. After checking in at the hotel, Fitzwilliam, I went out to explore. There's so much to see and do. I was on a mission. I had to find the oldest pub in Dublin; The Brazen Head. First though I wanted to revisit the St Stephen's Green Park. It was right across the street from the hotel. I walked down Grafton St and stopped in the Stephen's Green mall, then Fleet St, and found the original Temple Bar and then to the Brazen Head. On my way back to the hotel I passed Dublin Castle, Christ Church, and Stag's Head Pub. It started to rain so I stopped in a cafe and bought a sandwich to take back to the room. The hotel gave us a complimentary drink coupon so after a glass of wine it was time for a shower and bed. It's a four time difference from East coast.
